Model UN reflection
The most important thing I learned in model UN is that good resolutions can be made up if people are willing to work together for the benefit of everyone, not just their country. I learned how to look at different factors in order to find the best resolution for everyone. Model Un also taught me how to listen, and talk about what I thought was important to resolve the issue. This can be applied to everyday life because problems are never going to be resolved if people only want to do things their way because it benefits them only so in order to work together and make a good resolution I can use the skills of listening and communicating my thoughts to talk about whats important but also listen to things that everyone else thinks are important, this way problems can be resolved.

Reflection about my writing
My writing has improved throughout this year. The first semester I had difficulty clearly stating my ideas and writing in and order that could be understood clearly. Also I had trouble backing up my ideas with sources and quotes. The second semester I learned to show both sides of a problem but still be able to back up my opinion and convince the reader that that is the best choice. I did this by citing the sources and quoting them, then explaining what they meant and how they were right.
On the first semester I did quote stuff that helped me explain my point but I really didn’t explain how the author used his way of writing to convince the audience, He used different strategies but I wasn’t good at explaining how that influences the audience. That was one of my major flaws on the first semester.
The second semester I got better at quoting, putting my essay in a logical order, and explaining. Instead of just stating quotes and explaining what they where, I went deeper and explained how there was more than one side to an issue and how that quote or source can help prove that one side is right. Also I learned to write better conclusion statements and actually give a good closing statement.

Reflection about colleges
From researching different colleges I learned that college life isn’t all about fun, you have to work hard. I also learned that tuition is expensive. For example for University of Houston, room and board is $7,886 tuition and fees are $8,532 for a total of $16,418. It is even more expensive for out of state students. The University offers ways to help students pay like work-study, which is a flexible job on campus that can help students pay for their expenses. U of H offers 120 Majors and minors ranging from Bio chemistry to music composition. I also learned that they offer a lot of clubs including fencing, taekwondo, and dance. Another thing I learned is that each University has their own traditions that everyone follows.
